Rather than going with a regular active x-over, you might want to look into getting a dsp x-over since the prices on those are comming down, DBX DRPA goes for around 500 now days and they offer a lot more features than a regular analog x-over, like eq, delay settings for time aligning your speakers etc. etc.. May be a better choice.
