Thank Robert,I have 2 spare ss amp, so that I want to switch to active xover. So many inmates said that active xover much much better than passive xover. I had no experience with xover, both active and passive. I also want to fix N7000. I can solder as I alway diy cables. Please send me (kwong_arthur@hotmail.com) the schematics so I can fix it asap. I just listen to satalile speakers now, painful but better than nothing.
The cabinets are custom made base on the original S8 design with stands on top for 375 drivers and 2355 horns. The 075 tweeters are placed on top of 2355.
BTW, which active xover you think will work well with these JBL components. Do you think XM44 from Marchand Electronics would be a good choice? I'm planning to get a pair of super tweeters for my JBL too. XM44 can handle 4-way stereo.
