I use the system 800's in my 5.1 mastering system. They benefit from good stands and better crossover parts(an easy tweak to perform). The front L/C/R are powered by 60W PP Curcio tube amps, HP filtered at 150Hz(I use a sub). The 800's need more power if you're going to run them full range, in my experience. For the money they better any consumer speaker I've heard.Mike
