hifi preamp with pro gear

hello all...

ok, I am interested in knowing if my consumer preamp is compatible with pro EQ's , Xovers, Compressors, AMPS.

now the goodies on my preamp:

output impedance : 100 ohms

output (rated) 2V
output (max) 10V

Input Impedance : 22 000 ohms

pro products intersted in are DBX except the amps, which could be Crown, QSC etc...

I am posting this because I was told that I might clip the preamp, and that there could be other noise issues. I was told it just isn't like getting cables and playing away...

it is all a matter of matching impedances and gains, but I don't know how....
