If the rest of the system is truly balanced (as opposed to impedance or quasi balanced), then don't worry about it.

The polarity of the signal will not change and everything will work just fine.

And depending on the actual topology of the circuits-it may work just fine with an impedance balanced circuit.

At worst case-no audio will pass. You will not damage anthing-give it a try.
