A question about how to integrate a crossover (Accuphase F-25) that uses Pin 2 as negative—instead of the AES/EBU standard of Pin 2 positive—into a playback system in which all the other components (DAC, preamp, equalizer, power amps) use the standard pin-out assignment.

I've received two opinions. The first is that I just need to make up some cables from the crossover to the power amps that reverse the pinout back to Pin 2 Positive.

The second is that I also need to reverse the Pin 2 Positive to Negative for the cables that go from the equalizer to the crossover.

Any informed opinions would be much appreciated!
