as well as the positions of the speakers themselves. It sounds like the speakers might be exciting a vibrational mode of the MDF sheet... basically turning it into a very large radiating surface. Best bet (if possible) is to get your monitors off of the desk completely. Stands or wall mounting would likely be a good solution.Cheers
