This is with the mic cord completely still, the mic on its stand, and nothing else moving. There is some ambient noise, but it's all identifiable through the phones. This is something else, much louder, as if someone is brushing up against the microphone, or a pretty strong wind blowing across it. But the windows are closed, I'm alone, and I'm on the other side of the room (ghosts?). I certainly considered the possibility that it could be a real noise amplified, but if it is I'll be damned if I could figure out what it was or where it came from.Jim
