RE: Survived the Apple Mothership

I'm planning on getting a base model M4 mini sometime this week. I've started using Lightroom and other photo software and my 2015 iMac is just too slow. My M1 MBA + monitor is my main computer and much faster but I keep the photo editing and all associated equipment on my 3rd floor, and it is shared with my bike trainer and software.

I have the little Luna Display dongle so I'll see how that works with the M4 and the old iMac as monitor. If not I'll have to figure out a monitor for it. The Dell 4k monitor on my main system is great but may want something better for photo work. The iMac monitor is really good for it. I've seen videos of people gutting their old iMacs and putting in a video controller to turn it into just a monitor.
