Mac OS X Catalina (10.15) is pretty old. Newer macOS will un-archive it natively with no third-party software. You can try The Unarchiver for older Macs.If you still keep getting errors your DietPi download might be corrupt. Try downloading it again.
Once the DietPi image is un-zipped you will need to "Flash" it to a micro SD card for the Raspberry Pi to boot DietPi. You can use balenaEtcher for that or dd from the Terminal window command line.
On newer macOS just double-click the file:
