I don't use Safari but for any audio related issues always check "Audio MIDI Setup" to see where your audio is being directed to. You -should- see your DAC in Audio MIDI Setup. Highlight it then direct the audio through the DAC. If you don't see your DAC, try unplugging if from the USB port then plug it back in.... maybe on another USB port.Using my MacBook Air M2 here in this example you won't see a DAC as I don't have anything connected to this Mac. The only audio devices it sees are the internal Mic, internal Speakers, and a wireless iPhone that I can use for its remote Mic if I choose to.
