Good afternoon everyone!
I'm looking for some good advice on home recording equipment.
What I'm really looking for is, an audio interface that can both record and playback DSD files of any kind.
But the software has to be easy to use too.
I am a blind man.
This means that, on a PC, I have to use a text to speech converter that's called JAWS to do a lot of things on the computer.
On a Mack, Voiceover is what I have to use there.
I've come across audio interfaces on the net, that claims that they can do DSD.
But read in to them a little more, they tell you that, you have to use media managing software like jRiver, Roon, and Audirvonna.
But none of those peces of software work witth text to speech converters.
I bought a PreSonus Quantum ES 4 audio interface.
But truth be told, I wish I hadden't.
The software that's paired with it, just doesn't work for me. Universal Control, has so many graphics in it that, JAWS just won't interact with it.
The same thing is ttrue about Studio 1.
My ideal audio interface hardware and software combo, would be both blind user friendly, and allowing you to both record and edit and also playback DSD files.
And this will keep me from having to bother with audio file converters.
If anyone has any suggestions on here, then I'd sure love to hear them.
Thank you all in advance!
John.
