I agree with you. AI notwithstanding, often the way the question is phrased is as critical as the answer.
The OP used ChatGPT to support a position that I found to be defensive and strident. I used the same tool to arrive at a different conclusion.

That was my first time using Gemini. Apparently it doesn't have the feature to share your chat as ChatGPT does, too bad. When I posed the exact same question as you, I got a less polarized response from Gemini. I'm not gonna paste in the whole chat but here is the conclusion:
