Regarding Alexa's ability to control music services other than Amazon, I don't believe so. I have an existing WiiM Pro set up for Alexa and it only does Amazon.

The problem I see is that other music services would need to give access to Alexa so it's AI could interpret your voice command and then search the streaming service's database for the requested music. I don't see other services giving Amazon that access. The same applies to your local collection in that you'd need to give Alexa access to your server.
