Hi Mike,I'm using M-00s and I'm very happy with them. I'm using them with either a dual G4 or a MBP with a PreSonus Firebox Firewire interface ($299 at Sweetwater.com). I did have a slight hum at first but using balanced cables solved it.
FWIW, I'm also using a X10v3/XDAC with an AirPort Express/AirTunes feeding a Jeff Roland pre into a pair of NHT Xd speakers. The X10v3 makes a world of difference with the streaming audio.
