I would hold out for the NTHs if I were you and make due with something until then.I didn't know TAS reviewed them, but I have wanted a set for a looong time, ever since I got started doing some production work a while back.
Don't buy something else if you are going to be kicking yourself later for not getting the NHTs... I would also try to get the matching S00 sub and the little volume attenuator so you don't have to use the gain on your soundcard for anything.
