I've found it! Something w/ ASIO that sounds better than Foobar2000

I did some a/b comparisons with FLAC (there's a plugin for flac). XMPlay beats Foobar2000 hands down. Total size on disk is 440kb. There's a lot of assembly programming and low level code in XMPlay. There's plugins for ASIO and FLAC.

Before you ask me any questions, if you have the capability of downloading 500k you have to check this out yourself. There's no installer, just unzip all skins (the default is pretty sux) and plugins (really FLAC and ASIO is all that's needed) to one folder and execute XMPlay from that folder.

I have noticed increased detail in acoustic instruments and the overall atmosphere of the tracks. I turned all equalizers off, as well as any effects. Fantastic!
