When I looked at this about a month ago newegg had two versions of seagates, one with the 5 year warranty and one slightly cheaper sold from inventory of overstock and you roll dice about the warranty you get, could be one, five or none...part of me wonders what the hell good a warranty is on a harddrive, anyway...your data is what matters and when they go it's gone.But yeah, get a seagate and you get a 5 year warranty.
