I bit compared a white noise wav file with it replayed through foobar and a digital loop back interface but I did the recording with very old copy of cooledit pro but the inputs go through directx so the final bit compare had like, 75% of the samples that were different. I'd like to try this again with more reliable software.. _but_ it started to get really time consuming..To be honest I can tell that my UA-25 sounds better than my other sound cards and my amps and speakers sound different.. and mp3s sound crappy.. but I really have a hard time telling differences between copies of drivers and sampling rates and stuff.
