Thanks Thomas,I had stumbled across the N-Track, but didn't know if it was any good. For $20, it's certainly worth a try. I also found a PSP Master EQ (http://www.pspaudioware.com/), but it's pricey at $149.
I began playing around with the eq in Foobar, and strangely got distortion on some tracks but not others. Hopefully, your recommendations will work better.
