Hi scruffy,I tried to install it on the second IDE,and set it to master,it took BIOS a few minutes to detect the 4 IDEs and then tried to boot.It then returned with an error about the operating system not installed.Followed by a hang.I must say I used a 40 way cable because I didn't have a 80 way, could this be an issue? Having returned to Master/Slave with the 80 way,Windows returned as before.I came across a Driver wizard on the net to check my drivers, and decided to do the check. It did say my IDE controller was out of date but after searching the Google,I came up with nothing. So if a cable change don't work,I back to where I started. Thanks for replying.Mikee55
