The custom wire that we have built to our specs is available for $.50/foot. It is excellent for internal hookup in tube amplifiers. We also use in the output sections, although usually with mulitiple runs for each tube section.However in your article I saw a 6C33-based amplifier. If this is the OTL you are referring to, I recommend a solid silver (no copper) wire with Teflon insulation. The temperatures are so high on the 6C33 sockets that copper wire will degrade in a few years, regardless of insulation. So you have to use silver.
