What am I likely to hear?I am giving up my Bottlehead Paraglows to be modified by a friend, and I know that the friendly process will take months. So I thought I’d buy another amp in the 1000-1500 range to tide me over, and act as a second amp later. I am looking for more power since the 2A3 can not do everything on my 96db Abbys.
I am very intrigued by the Transcendent SE amp, but as much as I would like my curiosity satisfied, am I looking in the wrong direction with this amp? I anticipated moving in to OTL or some modified low watt PP configuration in the future to be an alternative to the 2A3, but the more expensive Amps will have to wait until I upgrade other parts of the system.
