I've used Jensen Isomax XLR/RCA converter to split off XLR output of MP-1 to subwoofer with RCA inputs (works well.) But as a phono cartridge coil is a balanced source, I don't see the point of adding a transformer. Purer signal path with reterminated phono cable.
