Torn between leaving the MP-1 turned on 24/7, or turning it off at night and turning it back on the next day.
Is there a consensus about tube life? I've read leaving tube gear on 24/7 actually causes less stress on tubes thereby prolonging their life. I can't wrap my head around this concept. Seems to me not burning them half the time would extend the tubes' life, not prolong it...
Of course, there's always the environmental argument.
