Perhaps you're correct about center taps on the SL audio transformers, but I have no recollection of ever having to deal with them when I've been inside the M1 power supplies. What makes you want to put a resistor between the CT and ground? Also, I thought you started out talking about your Acoustats, not your SL A3s.

So based on your last post, I now assume you have ONE PAIR Of MA1-like OTLs with 28 tubes per chassis. Yes? If so, I am back to my previous question, what are you using for a driver tube, and how many of them are there?
