I believe that the stock Atma-sphere amplifiers (and my own) have 1K resistors in the position to which you refer. You've raised this topic before and pointed out that you experienced a benefit from bypassing this resistor with a capacitor. Now you mentioned below that changing the value of the resistor from 1K to 2K did something. (It is not clear to me whether this was good or bad.) I am interested in DIY as apparently are you, but don't put this whole forum down just because no one is particularly interested in getting out the soldering iron over your poorly expressed ideas. If you would make more of an effort to explain yourself, perhaps you could elicit more of a response. For example, I asked you several times how you arrived at the value of the C you used to bypass the 1K R. It would now be interesting to know whether your observations of the effect of a 2K R are made with or without the bypass cap you espoused, and what value, etc. My amps weigh at least 80 lbs each; I am not going to pick them up and carry them to my basement to work on them based only on your previous gibberish.
