Now that you mention it, I don't recall seeing any serial number on my unit, but then again I never needed to find it. If numbered, the number should appear on the back side of either the power supply or the audio chassis, or both, just like most other audio products. It seems disingenuous of the seller to have asked the question, unless he already has looked in the obvious places with no success. I don't think Ralph would mind one bit if you ask him where to look.
I'll check my unit tonight and get back to you, if you have no success otherwise.
