I actually blew one of the fusible cathode links inside of a 6336A/B tube once. This happened early on, as I was just getting the feel of them. I was tired of replacing (or ran out of) the 5 Amp fast blow fuses I had been using, and installed a 7 Amp fast blow fuse. Next arc-over took one of the internal fusible cathode links instead of the 7 amp fuse. Oops, one dead triode. My rough calculations say that a 6336A/B tube can put out current peaks of 1-1.5 Amps per tube. Wow!
