Mark did the VSE Super Regulator surgery on my MP1 a couple years ago, so my before and after recollections are coloured a bit and additional changes were implemented at the same. So, with that said and the usual caveats (on my rack, in my system, @ my house, yada, yada) I was and remain very satisfied with the results of the change. I believe my MP1 exhibits better top to bottom command and control with the Super Regs in place. To me the changes were across the board rather than frequency specific. Music was more vivid and alive after the change. Also as side benefits, the power supply generates less heat and mechanical noise after the changes.
