Please forgive the confusion. The Novacron uses 1.5A "fast-blow" fuses, not "slo-blow".The 6C33 is rated at 60W continuous plate dissipation. It seems to survive, well past this rating, for short durations. It's a good thing music behaves very differently than sine waves.
BTW, Radio Shack is a good source fuses at reduced prices.
