After a long respite from the hobby, I'm curious if their haven't been some advances in what you put down on the kitchen table to keep it from going up in flames?
I remember back in electronics shop some of the tables were made of metal (which led to the Fourth of July when one of the dim bulbs plugged in his strobe light with the printed circut down on the metal table. By the way, his dad owned Tektronix)
Have seen some rather pricey green vinyl anti-static matts, is that what I want?
