Hi Paul.
A few points regarding your SLCF.
On the CCS. If I use Caddock TF020â€™s, will 2 â€“ 27.4k paralleled together be OK here (these are rated at .33w each). Are there any other considerations.
Looking back through the archives I see that comments have been made to take out the 499k resistor in the CCS and replace it with a 365k and connect it to the same tubes plate. Is this still the best thinking. Would there be any degradation in sound because of it. Or am I better off incorporating the fuses in the output stage and going with the 499k to ground.
I was also looking at the discussions regarding :-
a) Inclusion of a 5H 50mA choke on the +300 line connected to V4.
b) increasing the 100uF cap here to 200uF
Is it worth incorporating points (a) and (b) with the CVS.
