I've never been Paul, but I couldn't resist. Typically, a dynamic driver's impedance increases in proportion to frequency because of the voice coil's inductance. A Zobel Network, which is nothing more than our now famous cap and resistor in series, compensates for this effect and flattens out the impedance curve a bit. I've seen them hooked up directly across a driver, but not at the speaker box's terminals.
