I have no direct experience with van den Hul rebuilds of Koetsus, but a while back there was a discussion on the Audio Asylum about this. The vdH stylus profile differs from the Koetsu profile, which give a different response and sound from the original. The general consensus seems to be to recommend having Koetsu (Sugano) in Japan do the rebuild, as you will basically get back a new cartridge in the old, aged body. I've had good luck dealing with Melvin Ang of Koetsu S.E. Asia (http://home3.pacific.net.sg/~angmelvin/)
