Jumping on the bandwidth wagon

0

Hello, Ruperdacat.I third the welcome and thought perhaps I should also introduce myself to the group as I have posted a few time here and gotten some good advice from the very knowledgable folks at ASOG. My name is Garland Branch; I live in eastern Massachusetts and have two cats. I am struggling to get a better understanding of tube electronics by reading as much as I can find on the subject. I have been inspired and intimidated by the vast knowledge of electronics and classical music possessed by my father who passed away last december and was very dissapointed that he never got to hear my new M60MKII's. Over the months that I was building the kits he often helped me in understanding some of the reasons for some of the circuitryand was very impressed at the design of the amps. He had over the years, built many pieces of electronics for his stereo since he felt that it was nearly impossible to buy anything of worth made commercially but I think he was really just a true DIY'er. I find in many of the people here at ASOG the same love of the intricacies of this dare I say hobby or is it obsession. Let me take this time to thank all those who've answered my questions and helped me on my way to having REAL music in my home.
