I thought of having the "standby" switch (red lamp)control a relay that would switch in the 480VAC to the bridge diodes for the +&- 300V. But I was afraid that the output tubes would get their B+ voltage before the -bias voltage got established. Not good. I never raced them to see which is faster. It may work if the output supply has lots of caps added to slow it down, and there is only the stock caps in the 300 volt supply.Paul Speltz
