I'll try a single driver as soon as I get the chance. I'm using an AppleTalk mic, so all bets are off for actual frequency response. However, I did use this mic to check out my RS40-1197 and measured response up to close to 18 KHz, so I don't think it is TOO bad.I got some cool software from a guy on the basslist for visualizing cancellation patterns at various frequecncies that dramatically shows the peaks and nulls resulting from out of phase effects. This software assumes point source radiation (no beaming) and a straight baffle. I wonder if I'm just getting the distance and/or baffle curve wrong and landing in a big null area.
Anyway, I'll keep trying. If you have time, could you post the P/N for that Panasonic module? Do you just use batteries for power?
