Excellent post. You should also mention that your curves are from your Main Listening Position. PEQ's are a wonderful thing as "icing between cake layers." The ROOM EQ is the final icing on TOP of the cake!

Good bass is expensive, GREAT bass is even more so especially below 30 Hz.

At a given level, Woofer Excursion Quadruples, with proportional non-linear Distortion, so the only way to lower it is with a large horn very few people have the intestinal fortitude to own and use. WAF, as a secondary consideration, is thwarted if you go further and build a sound isolated room in your house. This approach is much cheaper than buying another house!
