ctually, if i was in your position. i would build the bass ultraflex for a 15" woofer (use a 12" cutout) and then reduce internal - volume if necessary by throwing in 2x4 scraps. you could then upgrade to 15" later. note that 414 does not have much good bass below 50.. but the larger 416 does.
414 -- which one? in my experierce with 414a/414z --> 6-9 cu feet is good. later ones might need less volume.
you are on right track.. 414 maybe impossible to beat from 50-1800
bbut note--.the woofer is deliberately designed to be in the center. which means there is a significatn distnace between midhorn
and woofer. solutions --make a cutout for midhorn on baffle -- or -- at risk of changing desing a little move woofer up 8 inches.
