I don't know what you mean by 'high resolution'. I use horn loaded speakers because they have wide dynamic range, low THD and maximum output that direct radiators can't approach. I am not an audiophile (I cringe when I hear the term) nor am I a would-be acoustical engineer. I'm a professional acoustical engineer/loudspeaker designer.
