If you like the K, ... why not just augument above 8 - 10K with a tweeter of some sort? This seems simpler.IF you really want to diy your speakers and use the karlson as a bass module, I'd suggest staying below 200Hz. I guess you could use a steel / ferrite core choke and maybe a first or second order crossover to keep things cheap. Also give some thought to level matching. An easy way would be to use a stereo receiver set to "mono" and use 1 channel for the K, and another for your MB20. Use the balance control to match levels.
