I have a pair of 1978 Klipschorns that had been updated with Trachorn wood horns, Beyma CD-25 tweeters and Bob Crite's rebuilt crossovers driven by 18w/Ch AudioPrism tube amp in triode mode in the same room as a pair of B&W N800s with Krell 700Cx power amp. The B&Ws are not the state-of-the-art modern speakers... but they do sound good. However, even before its updates and modifications, music from the factory Klipschorns was preferred by both of my kids and wife...and gets more action than the B&Ws.
