Hi, I noticed 215s go pretty cheap s/h compared to their 10,000 dollars RRP.
As I feel like it's time to move from my ATC 20 actives towards something more flexible, efficient and musical, Tannoys were obviously high on the list.
My only issue is the size of my room - 24m2, 3 m high. I am worried that 2 x 15" per box (4 in total in my room) would be just an overkill.
A plan is to either drive them with a nice small valve integrated such as Leben 300 or Manley Stingray or something along these, or to bi amp them with the SS for a bass grip and valves for sweetness in the mids/highs. Also, as I have Altmann's battery DAC, a BYOB amp is an option too.
I am not that much into high levels as much as I am into full, coherence pic at low to mid volumes, with occassional banging:)
Or should I resist a temptation and go for something more suited to my room....
