tree huggers.. umm.. look a little harder


the notion that 'environmentalists' destroyed lumber is a pretty crazy idea.. when an industry doesn't look after it's main resource into the future, it's on a slippery slope to begin with.. note the lack of dodo eggs, for instance, or maybe harp seal furs, tortoiseshell, ivory, and brazilian rosewood.

the only thing crippled is the logic corporations and profiteers use to justify untenable methodological positions. and last i checked, the canadians have a lot more wood to export due to a significant amount of 'unused' forest land, and fewer people, which could explain lower costs due to a bigger supply..
