IMHO, there's no such thing a doing it once and doing it right, especially for beginning speaker designers. You've got good ideas and good parts. But unless you can locate a proven design (including crossover) for that exact driver/cabinet combination, you're going to require some experimentation. Sorry, don't mean to rain on your parade, but approaching this as a process rather than a one-off task is more likely to produce excellent results. The good news is, that whole process can become just as addictive and fun!
