Not sure how exotic any of my components are, as the prices for some of this stuff gets beyond reason. But I do hope to make some improvements in the sound.As for starting with a blank sheet of paper, I have thought about that too, possibly some full range drivers. But putting a stake in the sand, and starting from what I have seems reasonable.
Just out of curiousity, what have you gone to, as you moved beyond the A5s?
