Yes 6 cu. ft. is what the charts were showing for this speaker, but a speaker building book I had back in the mid sixties showed a much larger cabinet,which is what I fashioned mine after. These speakers came with a cross over and a pad, so for now I am just using them as is. Steve suggested an open baffle which I would like to try, and your suggestion would allow me to Bi-wire so I want to try that too. So many options so little time! Thanks for the suggestions and if I may say "Don't let that speaker waste away". You could do a mono system or even a center channel for an HT setup.Terry
