Is there really a choice?
I have purchased many SACDs that are 2.0, 3.0, 4.0, 5.0 and 5.1.
Very often, actually, usually, there is no mention on the outside case what format is contained inside.
If there is, it is in very small print in an obscure area of the graphics.
Sometimes it's inside in the book, sometimes it doesn't appear at all.
When I noted this on the forum about a Telarc disc in 5.0, I was told it is really in 5.1 and my disc was defective. I exchanged it and the replacement was in 5.1.
Without the forum, and because of the lack of a requirement to state the format, I would have never known.
Anyone else have this issue?
