We first listened to a disc with no treatment. I then used the Talisman and heard a big improvement. I thought, well maybe the Furatech will add further, so I treated this disc. It destroyed the sound! I retreated it with the Talisman and actually thought it sounded better than it had before the Furatech treatment, but this was a bridge too far. I have since used two cdr copies treated both ways on a number of discs and found the Furatech just falls far short of the coherency and quiet that the Talisman gives. It bass also is far superior to that with Furatech treatment. The other benefit for me as I listen to many lps, is that the Talisman works with them.
I will still try the L'art du Son digital treatment and will continue to use either the RC Ultrabit Gold or AudioTop as a cleaner for the originals that are new and to clean the cdrs.
Finally, although the Jena Labs treatment looks much like the Walker Vivid and does feel like it on your hands, it has none of the car wax smell of Vivid. It does behave like a wax, however, in that it make the discs shine.
